Welcome to the official website for International Wheelchair Day, celebrating each year on March 1st. Originally founded by WheelchairSteve in 2008, the day is now celebrated worldwide.
It's a day to celebrate the freedom the wheelchair gives to it's users as well as a day of thought for the millions of people who are still in desperate need of a wheelchair.
